The Telescope Technology Offset Program (TTOP) is building the first and largest market for financial instruments to mitigate the risks associated with deep tech innovations such as AI, bioengineering, and quantum computing. Through the development of this new market, we aim to drive more investment into both R&D and prevention methods that make technologies safer, as well as to develop pools of capital to help those affected by job loss, adverse health outcomes, or otherwise.
Program support provided by:
We invest in early stage emerging technology companies that, in line with Telescope’s mission, make our society more secure and prosperous. We provide early capital, often in the first round of funding. We also help our companies find additional investors, and serve as trusted advisors as they grow.
Portfolio companies include:
The Telescope Trusted Talent Initiative (TTTI) builds pipelines of talent, at scale, that can serve as trusted partners to business, government, and civil society in ensuring that the next wave of invention in science and technology makes society more secure and prosperous.
Telescope’s Leadership Services (TLS) partners with mission-aligned organizations to amplify their impact. We provide strategic guidance, operational support, and access to resources, expertise, and connections that drive progress. Our approach goes beyond our own initiatives - we help scale the efforts of others who share our vision for a more secure and prosperous society.
Our capabilities range from strategy development, fellowship and scholarship design and implementation, organizational development, community engagement, end-to-end convening and event management, performance management to communications and brand management.
The Telescope Global Insight Series is a private discussion series where we explore ideas that have the potential to make the world more secure and prosperous. The program operates on an invitation-only basis and its participants include senior leaders in government, business, philanthropy, and academia. Our 2024 series shaped the creation of Telescope’s groundbreaking research partnership with Gallup exploring how Americans perceive AI development.
